Plataforma Aruba x Counter/Narratives: Bo Storia di Suerte In the Archival Horizons/Archivo Emergente project, Counter/Narratives and Plataforma Aruba joined forces to amplify underrepresented stories and collecting through Bo Storia di Suerte, led by artist Suyin Ridderstaat and Plataforma Aruba. These stories would later be part of the Archival Horizons/Archivo Emergente Map.

This initiative invited Arubans (age 50+) to share personal narratives tied to (how people see) ‘luck’, ‘rituals of luck’ and everyday life in their own past up until now. Weaving these individual experiences into a collective tapestry of cultural memory.

Through this collaboration Archival Horizons/Archivo Emergente Map becomes an archive of living, breathing spaces, connecting personal heritage with broader historical narratives. Together, we transformed stories into powerful tools for reflection, empowerment, and shared identity, bridging past and present for future generations.
