Join us on Saturday November 30, where we are collaborating with @ stimuleringsfonds  and  @nieuweinstituut  for ‘Hidden (hi)stories’- an afternoon symposium exploring untold narratives of colonial history through desing.

During this symposium, we present the outcomes of Archival Horizons/Archivo Emergente for the open call ‘Hidden (hi)stories’. All the supported projects under the ‘Hidden (hi)stories’ umbrella uncover hidden stories related to the Dutch colonial past and its postcolonial present through design: from Colombian forest narratives to Indonesian urban planning. In presentations and panel discussions, international designers, architects, researchers, and artists explore questions like: Which histories have shaped our design and architecture? What stories remain hidden? And how can we meaningfully engage with these narratives today?
